Being in poly for almost three years (well, more or less one and a half), i find it really really ludicrous.

What is that it?

The cheena mentality. HAHA.

Well from experience, the cheenas in my school are always so so so concerned with work, money, work, money....money.

Pardon me but im not talking about all the cheena people i know. most of them are keeeewl.

But im talking about the ones from the engineering and IT schools in particular.

Always always worrying about their gpa. always worrying about what type of attachment would they get. always thinking about the market the market the market.

what market? pasar malam???

hello! wake up and smell the construction workers! (what else would you smell in singapore these days?)

we're all only what? 19? 20? the epitome of age to really appreciate your surroundings and not to worry and worry and worry so much about the future (well of course you have to but not to an extreme extent as to diligently start taking notes when the lecturer just announced about a project...especially in modules such as...NATIONAL EDUCATION...bleagh)

what if you worry and worry and worry so much about your work, your gpa, your future then suddenly one day you get hit by a truck? bye bye worries, future, work and money!
and hello....h...(well it depends la na'uzubillah hi minzalik)

well i can faintly here the often used rebuttle of "MALAYS ARE LAZY WHAT". well so maybe some of us are but from what i see, we, well not only malays but the many rojak people in singapore do tend to appreciate the age and livelyhood that we have now i guess.

well to each his own i guess. And maybe it all depends on our upbringing. Thank god my parents are free thinking (not when it comes to religion la), open minded...garment criticsizing but still overall nagging parents.

so to the ones who keeps worrying about all these. You take your 4.0 gpa, you take your directors list, you take your sucking up to teachers, you take your big headed arrogant bastard looks, you take your "OH CISCO CALLED ME UP FOR ATTACHMENT AND I REJECTED THEM", you take your so called futures la.

and me? what do i have?

I have myself, my family, my friends, my vested interests and passions and most importantly,

I have god.

anyhoo,

i had a great and as always, enjoyable time with the fits-after-accident-apek aka fadlul and three-bulan aka suerya on tuesday!

satisfied my long time salmon craving at fish and co ($21...ergghhh)
but it was worth it!

after that just walked around and camwhored.

And i recieved the MOST CUTEST PRESENT EVER. no matter how girly it is, it was still hand sew/stitched. HEHE. THANKS SUE I LOVE IT.
