I went out with my parents to IMM today.
And no i did not have any 'hidden-agenda', or so my parents claim.
It was my dad who asked me along!
okay nvm.
Along the way my parents kinda argued about a particular sentimental something of my mom's that my dad threw.
At first thought, i was cursing my luck to be stuck in the same car with two hot heads battling it out. But after sometime it got quite funny till the point of being so hilarious that i had to control myself from bursting out laughing.
My mom and her...well...her expressive ways of expression and my dad with his not so on target but still hitting it for some reason or another humorous way of defusing the situation.
And no, it wasnt the only time in the day that they had their...well it wasnt much of an argument la, more of...discussions. Yes their discussions.
It kinda got me thinking, how will i be like with my wife later on (okay yes im quite conservative in a sense). Will we be a carbon copy, or a totally different story?

But i loved the outing, well apart from the fact that i ketok-ed my parents for a secret recipe cake, men's cosmetics (shaving cream, deodarent) and a pair of esprit bottoms but yes i like and really do miss spending time with my parents because honestly, in no way can i remember what happened in my few years as the first born.
Speaking of my mom, well i did really miss her alot while she was away. Even if only for a week or so. I have been, observing the family during that time and i feel that my family isnt my family without my mom. That is how important she is, from the cooking to the cleaning to the...financing (my dad is Mr Bad Banker according to Ilyas haha).
And yes she's the only one who could control my little siblings i guess. Poor papa has been trying his best but theres definitely a reason why the Prophet Muhammad SAW said that "heaven is beneath the mother's feet".
I remember a point of time where i kinda overestimated my own psychological strength and kinda told myself that i would definitely be strong if either of my parents were to pass on. Well these past few weeks, with each parent gone at different times, shattered that thought. Im old but im not ready.
