It's 330 AM and ive just finished reading the most amazing book ever.

A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini.

It's about the torn, tortured, uprooted lives of two girls in war-torn Afghanistan.

It made me wonder, over and over again, how lucky i am to be living in this country.

With an intact family, intact home, intact...limbs.

I feel guilty and sick to the stomach sometimes when i worry about things so trivial, so childish as compared to the worries of these girls.

Not enough money for a new guitar effect? My hair is too messy? Don't wanna use the new shirt that i bought yet?

Oh God please forgive me for all these worldly worries.

I want to do more. Both in j and the outside.

To help, to strive, all in the name of God of course.

But i don't know how, where, when to start.

Either that, or maybe i am just too busy to, right now.

But insyaAllah, in the future, there'll be a way. There always is.

The bigger the test (cobaan, musibah), the bigger the reward(pahala) at the end of it.



On a lighter note, i went out with Cherry J last night.
Met her at doby ghaut after her shift.
Oh did i mention that prior to meeting her, i just wasted $12 and 2 hours of my life on the worst
stand up comedy show ever? yes i did. horrible.
Okay so after much deliberation, discussion and of course, argument, we headed to Al-Ameen (WHICH IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN AL-AZHAR DUHHH) for dinner.
Or rather, really really late dinner (it was around 10+ when we reached).
She had fish and chips and i had MUTTON MASALA and we both had horicks godzilla which was ze shitz!
Eating was, eating.
But, well, just to say.
I really treasure our time together u know.
The talk, sharing, arguments and of course laughs...everything.
Don't let your problems burden you okay?
You're a strong girl. A stubborn girl. You'll manage.
And you'll always have me, to talk, to confide into and of course...to scold -____-.
You're a very dear friend, Cherry J =).


OH YES AND I WATCHED HARRY POTTER WITH ATEH IKINZ EDDYZ AND HADIZ just now.

it was great! cant compare it to the book though but as a movie it was great.
AAAHHH EMMA WATSON YOU MAKE MY HEART MELTZZZ.
ginny weasley you're not bad too =D.
HAHA. And the BELLATRIX. SO HOT AND SEXY IN ALL HER EVILNESS.
combined with megan fox from transformers, i may have just completed my potential 4 wives for the future. HAHAHAHA!!!
